Vorby works in any modern web browser and as a native iPhone app. They are not separate accounts: everything you do on one shows up on the other a few seconds later. Use whichever you have closest.
Install the iPhone app
- Open the App Store on your iPhone and search for Vorby, or open vorby.com on the phone and tap the App Store badge in the footer.
- Install and open the app. Sign in with the same email you use on the web.
- Your existing items, rooms, and homes are right there.
When the iPhone app shines
- Photographing items on the spot. The native camera and AI detection are fastest here.
- Scanning QR codes on bins and shelves.
- Universal Links: a Vorby link shared by text or email opens straight to that item or room in the app.
- Tapping NFC tags you have stuck on storage.
When the web app shines
- Bulk edits across many items, where a bigger screen and a keyboard help.
- Importing from a spreadsheet.
- Sharing or reviewing on a laptop without installing anything.
- Quick checks from a borrowed or work computer.
